The Museo Arqueológico Nacional Aruba (MANA), or the National Archaeological Museum Aruba, is the country’s central institution for the preservation, research, and presentation of Aruba’s archaeological and pre-colonial heritage. The museum documents and safeguards material evidence of more than 4,500 years of human presence on the island, with a particular focus on the Indigenous Caquetío culture and the historical developments that followed.
MANA functions as a research center, educational institution, and public museum. It offers visitors insight into the archaeological finds, cultural landscapes, and lifeways that shaped Aruba’s earliest history. Through its collections, exhibitions, public programming, and heritage management activities, the museum contributes to cultural knowledge, continuity, and the ongoing formation of Aruba’s national identity.
