De Association of Museums & Heritage of Curaçao organiseert elk jaar een ‘Museum Weekend‘, waarbij de aangesloten musea een kans krijgen zich te profileren bij een breed publiek. Er wordt ook altijd gezorgd voor leuke en leerzame activiteiten voor de jeugd, prijsvragen en meer. De actuele informatie over dit evenement is onder andere beschikbaar op hun Facebook pagina.

Op braakliggende terreinen langs de wegen op Curaçao bouwt de jeugd zgn. high flying parks, vrolijk versierde jeugdhuizen gebouwd uit allerlei materialen. Nadat er een wedstrijd voor het meest originele park is uitgeroepen, verschijnen er nog meer van dit soort bouwwerken. De jongeren ontmoeten elkaar en maken er muziek.
