Each December, the neighborhood of San Nicolas in Aruba comes alive with Cas di Luz, a beloved community tradition where local residents, artisans, and cultural groups transform historic streets and homes into glowing displays of light. Led by grassroots organizers, the event celebrates Aruban creativity, heritage, and togetherness. Visitors can stroll through the illuminated area to experience a vibrant blend of holiday spirit, craftsmanship, and cultural pride. This year Cas di Luz is celebrating 40 years of this tradition.
