De Biblioteka Nashonal Kòrsou is de nationale bibliotheek van Curaçao en een belangrijke plek voor kennis, cultuur en erfgoed. Ze beheert een uitgebreide collectie boeken, kranten, manuscripten en audiovisueel materiaal over het eiland en de Caribische regio.
De afdeling SKAL (Sekshon di Kultura, Arte i Literatura) nodigt de gemeenschap van Bonaire uit om samen na te denken over de toekomst van het cultuurbeleid op het eiland. Stichting Monumentenzorg Curaçao wil de achterstandswijk Scharloo (Willemstad, Curaçao) renoveren. De toekomstige veranderingen roepen spanningen bij de bewoners op. Zo ook bij modeontwerper Junius Isenia, die vol trots zijn buurt laat zien: ‘Beter kun je niet krijgen op het eiland!’. Hij beseft wel dat er iets moet verbeteren, maar is bang dat de huidige bewoners zullen worden weggejaagd. Toch zet Monumentenzorg door.
