‘Belvedère in oude glorie hersteld’ documenteert de restauratie van het historische landhuis Belvedère op Curaçao. Het boek biedt een gedetailleerd overzicht van het herstelproces van dit iconische gebouw, dat oorspronkelijk in de 19e eeuw werd gebouwd en een belangrijke rol speelde in de geschiedenis van het eiland.

De Biblioteka Nashonal Kòrsou is de nationale bibliotheek van Curaçao en een belangrijke plek voor kennis, cultuur en erfgoed. Ze beheert een uitgebreide collectie boeken, kranten, manuscripten en audiovisueel materiaal over het eiland en de Caribische regio.

Staatssecretaris Uslu (Cultuur en Media) en de openbare lichamen van Bonaire, St Eustatius en Saba (Caribisch Nederland) hebben in september 2022 een cultuurconvenant gesloten. Het Openbaar Lichaam Bonaire (OLB) en het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap (OCW) hebben de afspraken in het convenant verder uitgewerkt in een gezamenlijke cultuuragenda.

Ze stuiten op een familiegeschiedenis die bol staat van de voetzoekers de vuurgevechten en hele hete koortsige nachten. On the first of March 1990 prof.dr.ir. C.L.Temminck Groll reached the age of 65 years. Because of his great importance for the architectural research and the preservation of monuments in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, this work is dedicated to him by 25 of his friends, students’ and other scientists.

Cas di Cultura is Aruba’s National Theater and Cultural Center since 1958. The organization focused on cultural and artistic education. By doing so, Cas di Cultura hopes to further engage the Aruban community, particularly the younger generation, to admire, preserve and share Aruba’s culture and the arts in general.

The study focuses on the typology, origin, and historical context of these ceramics, shedding light on the island’s trade networks, daily life, and cultural interactions during the colonial period.
