Duikers van de Caribische eilanden nemen deel aan een drie weken durende cursus ‘Onderwater Cultureel Heritage Management’ op Aruba. De cursus richt zich op het behoud van onderwater cultureel erfgoed, zoals scheepswrakken, oude havenstructuren en historische maritieme landschappen.
Op donderdag 6 november 2025 vond de slotconferentie van het project ‘Awa pa Kòrsou’ (Water voor Curaçao) plaats op de University of Curaçao (UoC). In 1973 werd in het miniatuurpark Madurodam in Den Haag een maquette van Willemstad onthuld door Koningin Juliana. Jarenlang gingen Antillianen naar Madurodam om hun Willemstad te zien. This film was created by an unknown American couple. This amateur made color travelogue named ‘Trans-Canal Cruise: Chapter Two’ shows a cruise on a P&O Princess Cruises ship, the SS Island Princess, from St. Thomas / St. John to Puerto Rico. The first stop in this chapter of the cruise is Aruba.
