Fundashon Históriko Kultural Boneriano (FuHiKuBo) is een stichting welke gespecialiseerd is op het gebied van culturele en historische elementen van Bonaire. De stichting is opgericht op 6 augustus 1998. Een van de oprichters en directeur, F.D. (Bòi) Antoin, heeft de afgelopen 30+ jaar zijn tijd gewijd aan het documenteren, verzamelen en bewaren van alles wat met het (immaterieel) erfgoed van Bonaire te maken heeft. Dat heeft geleid tot een indrukwekkend archief aan informatie in de vorm van boeken, documenten, afbeeldingen, video-/audiobestanden en artefacten.
Onze missie is het documenteren, promoten en beschermen van het culturele, natuurlijke en historische erfgoed van Bonaire.
Onze visie is dat het erfgoed van Bonaire wordt veiliggesteld en toegankelijk is voor de toekomstige generaties.

Fundashon Históriko Kultural Boneriano (FuHiKuBo) is a foundation that specializes in the field of cultural and historical elements of Bonaire. The foundation was founded on August 6th, 1998. One of the founders and director, F.D. (Bòi) Antoin, has dedicated his time over the past 30+ years to documenting, collecting, and conserving anything in relation to Bonaire’s heritage. Which has led to an impressive archive of information in the form of books, documents, images, video/audio files and artefacts.
Our mission is to document, promote and safeguard Bonaire’s cultural, natural, and historical heritage.
Our vision is for Bonaire’s heritage to be safeguarded and accessible for generations to come.
