This film was created by an unknown American couple. This amateur made color travelogue named ‘Trans-Canal Cruise: Chapter Two’ shows a cruise on a P&O Princess Cruises ship, the SS Island Princess, from St. Thomas / St. John to Puerto Rico. This is only a portion of the cruise, which started in Acapulco, Mexico and transited the Panama Canal with visits to Martinique and the Virgin Islands. This is circa 1975. This part of the cruise is shown in Chapter One. SS Island Princess was later known as MV Discovery (formerly also as Island Venture, Hyundai Pungak and Platinum). The map shows a route for an ocean liner from Acapulco, Mexico to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The first stop in this chapter of the cruise is Aruba.
