If you work in the heritage sector, the cultural sector, or education and would like to share materials on this website as well, you can do so in two ways.
Submitting materials on an occasional basis
You can submit materials on an occasional basis for Herens/cia | Erfgoed | Heritage. To do this, you can fill out a form with all the information about the material. It is important to carefully read the ‘Criteria for uploading materials’ and ‘Tips for uploading materials’ provided with the form.
Submitting materials on a regular basis
If you or your organization expect to submit a large amount of material or submit materials regularly on Herens/cia | Erfgoed | Heritage, you can register as a content partner. The content manager of Herens/cia | Erfgoed | Heritage will then create an account for you on the website as a partner and send instructions for uploading content. Using these instructions, you can upload content. The content manager will validate the submitted content, consult if necessary, and then publish it. In your account, you can keep track of all the content you have submitted.

Criteria for uploading material
Material must meet the following criteria;
- Factually substantiated
- Falls into one of the following categories;
- Intangible heritage
- Tangible heritage
- Built heritage
- Archeological heritage
- Arts & crafts (older than 50 years)
- Literature
- Music & performing arts
- Natural heritage
- This concerns heritage that is unique to the Dutch Caribbean islands of Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius and/or Saba.
- You have the copyright to share the material, or you may link to where this material can be found publicly.
Tips for uploading material
- One material or activity can be entered per form.
- Please fill in all relevant fields as completely as possible.
- Use the language of the material or activity itself, so if it is a book in Papiamentu, formulate the title, possibly subtitle and description in Papiamentu as well.
- Under Country/Island, Category, Type of material, etc., several options are possible
- In case of images, e.g. screenshots, a scan of the table of contents, other images that give an impression of the material can be uploaded. In the case of activities, it may be a poster/flyer, promotional materials, photos, etc.
- At External Sites/Links, one or more links can be placed to the material itself, to where more can be found about the material. In the case of an activity, a link can be placed to the location, a site with more information and the site for ticket sales.
