Nederlands – <\/strong>Dit is de nieuwste brochure die de Fundashon Pro Monumento iedere keer uitgeeeft ter gelegenheid van een Monumento Habr\u00ed. Zoals gebruikelijk bevat de brochure een te wandelen route met uitgebreide beschrijvingen van de architectuur en de geschiedenis van de wijk en de opengestelde panden. Het onderzoek en de tekst zijn weer het werk van drs, Gerda Jonkhout-Gehlen die dit al sinds 1997 voor ProMo doet.
\nDe historische panden, die ter gelegenheid van Monumento Habr\u00ed 2004 worden opengesteld, zijn nagenoeg allemaal gebouwd op het voormalige achterland van de Westwerf. Deze gronden, die omstreeks 1860 nog nauwelijks bebouwd waren, strekten zich van Sint Annabaai westwaards uit en lagen ten noorden van de huidige Frederikstraat.<\/p>\n

English – <\/strong>This is the latest edition of the brochures published by the Pro Monument Foundation (ProMo) whenever a Monumento Habr\u00ed (Open Monumentday) is organized. As is customary, the brochure contains a walking route with detailed descriptions of the architecture and the history of the quarter and the buildings thrown open to the public. Again the investigation and the text are the work of Mrs. Gerda Jonkhout-Gehlen, who has been doing this for ProMo since 1997.
\nNearly all te historic buildings that are opened to the public on the occasion of Monumento Habr\u00ed 2004, have been built on the former hinterland of the Westwerf. These grounds, which were hardly built on round 1860, stretched westward from the St. Anna Bay, and were situated to the north of the present Frederikstraat.<\/p>\n
